Your Goals for the season. Move up in the lineup. Improve my mile time to under 6:30. Make the USA Team.

About Me. My name is Ricardo Hurtado – 11 years old.  I am the oldest of 3 boys. I started playing baseball at 4-years-old with Whittier Pony League.  At 6 years old, I experienced my first big win in San Marcos, CA, my team won the Pony World Series.

At 7 years old, I joined a travel ball team.  Today, I continue to play travel ball with Easton Top Notch, which has given me the opportunity to learn the game of baseball, compete at the highest level and win many championships that include some local World Series and across the country.  I’ve been able to do this with commitment, hard work, self-drive, great leadership from my coaches, which includes my dad who’s been coaching me since I started.

This past season I was able to experience USA Baseball in Cary, NC – 2019 10U Futures Invitational where I was named co-MVP of the tournament for my team.

When I’m not training or playing baseball, you may find me playing football for my school team, playing basketball for fun, playing games with friends or doing homework.  I have a passion for collecting shoes and my favorite school subject is math. I’m a highly competitive, hard-working athlete and student.  If I do something, I do it 100%.

My future goals include attending an elite college.  Some days I want to be a Sports Doctor and other days I want to invent something big that will change the world. I love God, my family and I’m a role model to my little brothers.
